MARY'S HOSPITAL, DECATUR, OF THE <br /> HOSPITAL SISTERS OF THE THIRD ORDER OF ST. FRANCIS, an Illinois Not For Profit <br /> Corporation("HOSPITAL"). <br /> WHEREAS, the HOSPITAL has requested the CITY to vacate certain portions of <br /> Riverside Avenue, 17`h Street, and Buena Vista Drive, in the City of Decatur, to accommodate the <br /> expansion and improvement of the Hospital; and <br /> WHEREAS,the CITY agrees that the requested portion of said street should be vacated and <br /> that the public should no longer be required to own and maintain same, but that some limited public <br /> access thereto is in the public interest; and <br /> WHEREAS, the HOSPITAL is willing to maintain some public access on said street after <br /> the vacation thereof, on the terms and conditions set out herein. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,the CITY and the HOSPITAL agree as follows: I <br /> 1. The CITY will vacate the following-described portions of Riverside Avenue, 17�' II' <br /> Street, and Buena Vista Drive: I, <br /> A portion of Riverside Avenue, 17th Street and Buena Vista Drive <br /> beginning at a point at the Southwest corner of Lot 8 of Sampson <br /> Addition as recorded in Plat Book 745 at Page 251 of the Records <br /> in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; thence Easterly <br /> along the South line of Lots 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 of said Sampson <br /> Addition approximately 263.35 feet to the Southeast corner of said <br /> Lot 12; thence Southerly approximately 45 feet to the Northeast <br /> corner of Lot 13 of said Sampson Addition; then Westerly along <br /> the North line of said Lot 13 to the Northwest corner of said Lot <br /> 13; thence Southerly along the West lines of Lots 14, 33, 34, and <br /> 35 of said Sampson Addition to the Southwest corner of said Lot <br /> 35; then Southerly and Westerly along the North lot line of Lots <br />
