a <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL SITES COMMISSION <br /> RESOLUTION FIlVDING LINCOLN SQUARE THEATRE AND IOOF HALL MEETS <br /> THE CRITERIA FOR DESIGNATION <br /> AS A LANDMARK <br /> WHEREAS,the Director of Economic and Urban Development has recommended approval of <br /> the petirion of Kory Wilmot for designation of the Lincoln Square Theatre and the IOOF Hall a <br /> Landmark• and <br /> , , <br /> WHEREAS, on the 13th day of March,2002,upon due notice,the Commission held a public <br /> hearing upon said petition for the designation of said Lincoln Square Theatre and IOOF Hall as a I <br /> Landmark as defined in Chapter 31 of the City Code of the City of Decatur,Illinois,and legally <br /> described as: ! <br /> Lot Eleven(11),excluding the$outh 88 feet and the East 76 feet thereof,of , <br /> A.Wait's Resurvey of Lot 11, 12, 13, 14, 15,and 16 of Original Town of Decatur, <br /> as per Plat recorded in Book 22,Page 574 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of <br /> Macon County,Illinois <br /> And <br /> Lot Ten(10) of the Assessor's Resurvey of Block Three(3)of Original Town of <br /> Decatur,as per Plat recorded in Book A,Page 1 of the Records in the Recorder's <br /> Office of Macon County,Illinois and, <br /> WHEREAS, said Commission found that said application of the Lincoln Square Theatre and the <br /> IOOF Hall for designation of as a Landmark meets the criteria required for the designation of same. <br /> NOW,TF�REFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY TfiE HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL <br /> SITES COMNIISSION OF THE CTTY OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the recommendation of the Director of Economic and Urban Development be, <br /> and the same is hereby,received,and placed on file. <br /> Section 2.
