The majority of the berm called for in the <br /> original special use permit would be in the flood plain. The amendment is being <br /> requested to eliminate the berm and replace it with a decorative fence on th� Sout <br /> and West sides of the proposed substation. The decorative fence has been discusse <br /> with the IDNR and they have requested that the fence be placed outside of the floo <br /> plain., This change would reduce the possibility of flooding in the area. <br /> SECTION FIVE: CERTIFICATION <br /> To be placed on the agenda of the regulaz meeting on the first Thursday of the month at 3:00 <br /> PM in the City Council Chambers, petition must be received on the first Thursday of the <br /> preceding month. Failure of the petitioner or the petitioner's representative to attend the Plan <br /> Commission hearing ma.y result in items being tabled.
