, , <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2002-09 <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> -2071 AND 2117 EAST DAMON AVENUE - <br /> WHEREAS, on the 7th day of February, 2002, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of Mark P. Jackson to rezone premises <br /> described as: <br /> The East forty (40) feet of Lot Thirty-One (31) and all of Lot Thirty-Two (32) of <br /> Greenwich Gardens, as per Plat recorded in Book 802 at Page 72 of the Records <br /> in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois, <br /> from R-2 Single Family Residence District to B-2 Commercial District; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said <br /> petition be denied. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the <br /> same is hereby,received, placed on file and disapproved. <br /> Section 2. That said described premises be, and they are hereby,rezoned from R-2 Single <br /> Family Residence District to B-2 Commercial District. <br />
