Although not required, a motion to <br /> al. Ms. Miller stated that a Public Hearing <br /> is required. i� <br /> Ms. Julie Keller, Attorney,was present and spoke for the petition representing the Robling's who <br /> reside adjacent to the subject property. Also adjacent to the property is Mr. Doran's property. <br /> The two petitioners have agreed to vacate and the Robling's will then go through the process of <br /> dividing the property with Mr. Doran. Ms. Keller stated that the Robling's have been residing at <br /> their present location for the past nine to ten years and have been maintaining the subject <br /> property, including providing fill for the gully. <br /> There were no objectors present. <br /> Mr. John stated that he would like to see the City develop a policy and procedure on vacations in <br /> general. He stated that property adjacent to City property, the Park District or Conservation <br /> District could be potential access to a Greenway project. Mr. John had spoken directly with the <br /> Conservation District and was told this property was not suitable for a project. He stated that he <br /> does not object to this vacation request but feels that the requests should be carefully scrutinized <br /> Mr. Clevenger stated that the City contacted both the Park District and the Conservation District <br /> as well as conducted a site visit.
