' <br /> BACKGROUND: The petitioner is requesting to vacate the easement that runs east and west I�� <br /> across Lot 3 of Buccanneer's Point II Addition in order to construct a new home. The petitioner <br /> owns both Lots 3 and 4 and will construct the home across both lots. The former telephone line <br /> in the easement has been relocated to the north property line of Lot 4. The sanitary easement that , <br /> runs north and south across the property will remain. , <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: There are no known objectars. �I <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Utility letters have been received from Illinois Power, II <br /> Insight Communications and Ameritech stating no objection to the vacation; the release of the '� <br /> platted easement has also been received. Ameritech has relocated their utilities and will require I <br /> an easement on the north side of Lot 4 of Buccanneer's Point II Addition. i <br /> STAFF REFERENCES: If Council members have questions they may contact Kathy Miller at I <br /> 424-2786 or kjmiller@decaturnet.org.
