Krieg r, ssistant City Manager <br /> Randy Johne , Building Inspections M age <br /> SUBJECT: Changes to Chapter 70.1 Plumbing Code <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: The Building Inspections Division would like to <br /> recommend changes to Chapter 70.1, particulaxly, formal adoption of the 1998 Illinois State <br /> Plumbing Code and amendments as shown underlined and in italic on attachment to this memo. <br /> BACKGROUND: Although the City is bound by State law to recognize this code, formal <br /> adoption and amendments are necessary to keep our ordinances current. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: None we are aware of. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Randy Johner, Building Inspections Manager, 217/424-2787. <br /> BUDGET/TIME <br /> IMPLICATIONS: As said, code is now being enforced but we would like adoption as soon as <br /> possible. <br />
