, i A , <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2001-57 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTER 67 - <br /> -BUILDING CODE - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That Chapter 67 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and the <br /> same is hereby, amended and modified at Section 2 and Section 6, so that said Section 2 and <br /> Section 6 as amended, shall provide as follows: <br /> 2. BUILDING CODE. The same having been duly placed and <br /> remained on file as required by law, and subject to the additions, <br /> modifications, changes or deletions set out in this Chapter, The BOCA <br /> National Building Code/1999 of Building Officials and Code Administrators, <br /> International, Inc., the same being found and declared by the Council to be <br /> regulations as defined by applicable statute, is hereby adopted by reference <br /> and the same to be known, and which may be cited, as the "The Building <br /> Code" of the City, and which shall have the scope and applicability as therein <br /> set out, except as modified by the provisions of this Chapter. <br /> 6. DELETIONS.
