, • <br /> , ORDINANCE NO. 20D1-52 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE <br /> CURRENT REFUNDING OF THE REMAINING PORTION OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, MACON COUNTY, ILLINOIS HOSPITAL FACILITY REVENUE <br /> REFUNDING BONDS, SERIES 1991A (DECATUR MEMORIAL HOSPITAL) <br /> (THE "SERIES 1991A BONDS"); AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING <br /> THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF A SECOND SUPPLEMENTAL BOND <br /> TRUST INDENTURE DATED AS OF JULY 1, 2001 <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY OF DECATUR, MACON COUNTY, ILLINOIS <br /> AND THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF DECATUR, AS TRUSTEE <br /> (THE "SERIES 1991A TRUSTEE"), SUPPLEMENTING THE <br /> BOND TRUST INDENTURE DATED AS OF JUNE 1,1991 <br /> BETWEEN SUCH PARTIES SECURING THE SERIES 1991A BONDS; <br /> AND AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING CERTAIN RELATED MATTERS <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur, Macon County, Illinois (the "City"), is a duly <br /> constituted and existing municipality and a home rule unit within the meaning of Section <br /> 6(a), Article VII of the Constitution of the State of Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City, pursuant to its powers as a home rule unit, is authorized and <br /> empowered to issue its revenue bonds to finance and refinance the costs of acquiring, <br /> constructing, renovating and equipping hospital, nursing home or other health care facilities <br /> in order to enhance the general health and welfare of the residents of the City and the <br /> surrounding areas; and, <br /> WHEREAS, on December l, 1983, the City issued its City of Decatur, Macon <br /> County, Illinois Hospital Facility Refunding Revenue Bonds, Series 1983 (Decatur Memorial <br /> Hospital) in the original aggregate principal amount of $17,560,000 (the "Series 1983 <br /> Bonds"') under the Bond Trust Indenture dated as of October 1, 1983 between the City and <br /> American National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago, as trustee; and, <br /> WHEREAS, on June 26, 1991, the City issued its City of Decatur, Macon County, <br /> Illinois Hospital Facility Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 1991A (Decatur Memorial <br /> Hospital) in the original aggregate principal amount of $9,950,000 (the "Series 1991A <br />' Bonds"') under the Bond Trust Indenture dated as of June 1, 1991 (the "Series 1991 Bond <br /> Indenture" between the Cit and The First National Bank of Decatur as trustee the "Series <br /> ) Y , ( <br /> 1991A Trustee"); and, <br /> CH-1169726v1 <br />
