Brueck's 2nd Addition to the City of Decatur, as per Plat recorded in Book 149, Page 427 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; and, WHEREAS, said portion of alley is no longer useful to the public or to the City or to the owner of the property abutting thereon as an alley, and, WHEREAS,the public interest will be subserved by vacating said portion of a11ey and the public v��ill be reliev�d from the further burden ana responsibility of maintaining the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCII.OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, II.LINOIS: Section 1. That the above described portion of alley be, and the same is hereby, vacated as a public alley inasmuch as the same is no longer required for public use and the public interest will be subserved by such vacation, said portion of alley being shown on the plat thereof hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof.
