Couter, Director of Financial Management � <br /> SUBJECT: Supplemental Appropriations for Fiscal Yeaz 2000-2001 <br /> Six Grants Received During 1998-1999 <br /> Attached are seven supplemental appropriations for fiscal year 2000-2001, for funding I�, <br /> received or required after the passage of the Appropriation Ordinance, approved in July 2001. �' <br /> Police Law Enforcement Block Grant - Fund 06. Grant provided by U.S. Department of <br /> Justice for police training and equipment costs. Grant amount is $50,000. Grant will end <br /> in 2002. <br /> Domestic Violence Prevention Grant - Fund 95. Grant provided by U.S. Department of <br /> Justice for training, equipment and police overtime costs. Grant amount is $25,000. Grant <br /> will end in 2001. <br /> Violence Prevention ProQram Grant - Fund 97. Grant provided by U.S. Department of <br /> Justice for training, equipment and personnel costs. Grant amount is $30,000. Grant will <br /> end in 2001. <br /> Library Capital Grant - Fund 21. A one-time loan from the City of Decatur to rehab the <br /> rental space within the Library building for lease. Loan amount is $175,000. The loan <br /> will be repaid by the Library by 2008. <br /> Police Lab & Pro�rams Fund - Fund 08. During the year it became necessary to make <br /> unanticipated equipment purchases for drug enforcement. This fund had sufficient fund <br /> balances which were not appropriated, however with the purchase of this equipment, that <br /> unappropriated fund balance was used to purchase the drug enforcement equipment. The <br /> equipment will cost approximately $11,000. <br />
