', <br /> The first ordinance, which becomes Exhibit B to the Agreement, designates locations within the <br /> project limits where motor vehicle parking is prohibited. Parking is not currently allowed or <br /> provided within the project limits, this ordinance will formalize that. <br /> The second ordinance, which becomes Exhibit C to the Agreement, requires the City to regulate <br /> the discharge of sanitary sewage or industrial waste water such that it cannot be drained into any <br /> . storm sewers that are constructed as part of this project. <br /> The third ordinance, which becomes E�ibit D to the Agreement, requires the City to regulate <br /> encroachments into the public right-of-way. Encroachments might include buildings, signs, <br /> fences, sidewalks or other objects that may be positioned in the public right-of-way. IDOT did <br /> perform a field review and no encroachments were noted that required special attention. This <br /> ordinance is an administrative requirement of IDOT whether or not an encroachment actually <br /> exists. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Illinois Department of Transportation <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Matt Newell, City Engineer at 424-2747 <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> Design and construction costs relative to this proposed project will be borne by the City($6,654), <br /> State ($1,515,846) and Federal ($3,480,000) governments. The City's cost is for its portion of <br /> the traffic signal work proposed for U.S. Route 51 / lst Drive and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive/ <br /> Lake Shore Drive. The City's resolution (to become Exhibit A to the Agreement) allocates a <br /> maximum cost of$8,318, or 125% of the estimated construction cost. These costs will be paid <br /> with Motor Fuel Tax Funds. <br /> Attach: 5 <br />
