•
LEGAL DEPARTMENT MEMORANDUM
No. 2000-23
November 30, 2000
TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council Members
FROM: Steve Garman, City Manager
Beth B. Couter, Finance Director
John W. Couter, Corporation Counsev

RE: Bachrach TIF '
In 1990 the City established a tax increment financing ("TIF") district to assist the
construction of a Bachrach facility located north of West Mound Road. That project has
been completed and it is now time to dissolve the TIF district. An ordinance is forwarded
herewith to Council to begin that process. On December 18th a second ordinance will
complete the dissolution of the district and end tax increment financing for that district.
Staff recommends approval of the attached ordinance.
JWC:ps
cc: Wendy L.
