' � . <br /> Staff has worked with the petitioner to address the following concerns: <br /> • to provide enhanced landscaping on the site to encourage a variety of <br /> aesthetically-appealling vegetation; and <br /> • to provide landscaped berms on the site of three to five feet in vertical height. <br /> Staff is of the opinion that the proposed Special Use Permit is acceptable and will meet minimum <br /> standards for public safety and screening of the development. Staff recommends approval of the <br /> petition subject to site plan and landscaping plan approval by the Economic and Urban <br /> Development Department. <br /> The Decatur City Plan Commission voted unanimously to forward this item to City Council with <br /> recommendation for approval at the November, 2000 meeting.
