To City Council Members
 From Mayor Howley
V
4 Date November 1, 2000
QRe CITY CODE CHAPTER 52
LI--a
The proposed amendment to City Code Chapter
52, Alcoholic Liquor, at Section 7, is in response
• •-- to my earlier communication with Council
Umembers. A majority of inembers agreed that the
license fee should be prorated. One member stated
the license fee should not be prorated and the fee
is a cost of doing business. Additionally, this
member felt that a $500.00 fee should be incurred
to change license classifications within a given
year.
It was discovered that three license classifications
did not address zoning requirements and those are
being updated in the proposed amended ordinance.
If you have any questions or comments, please
contact me prior to Monday's meeting.
Thank you.
Attachment
