ORDINANCE NO. 2000-57 ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE - CHAPTER 52 - - ALCOHOLIC LIOUOR- WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/7-1-13, the City has annexed the following described premises: Lot One (1) of Borcher's Subdivision as per Plat recorded in Book 300 Page 235 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois. Situated in Macon County, Illinois; and, WHEREAS, prior to and at the time of said annexation a tavern known as the 99 Club was being operated on said premises, and the owner of said tavern wishes to continue such operation; and, WHEREAS, the continued operation of said tavern requires the issuance of a City of Decatur liquor license, and all currently authorized licenses are issued and therefore unavailable for said owner; and, WHEREAS, the Council finds that the number of authorized liquor licenses should be increased so as to permit the continued operation of the 99 Club, and that a City liquor license should be issued to the owner thereof, in accordance with law and subject to the approval of the Mayor as Local Liquor Control Commissioner. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. T'hat Section 10 of Chapter 52 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended, so that said Section 10, as so modified and amended, shall provide as follows:
