ORDINANCE NO. 2000-27 <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION FOR FISCAL YEAR <br /> MAY 1, 1999 THROUGH APRIL 30,2000 <br /> ECONOMIC AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, by annual appropriation Ordinance No. 99-72, as amended, for the fiscal <br /> year beginning May 1, 1999 certain items of appropriation were made within the departments of <br /> the City of Decatur, Illinois; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of said City now desires to establish an Economic and Urban <br /> Development Department in the General Fund; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to transfer funds as appropriated from the Community <br /> Development Department in the General Fund to the above referenced department in the General <br /> Fund; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur, Illinois is a home rule unit of government as established <br /> by the Constitution of the State of Illinois; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the appropriation authority established by the appropriation ordinance <br /> aforesaid be, and it is hereby, further modified and amended by transferring such authority from <br /> one item of appropriation to the other item of appropriation, as set out herein: <br />
