FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT <br /> #00 - 09 <br /> April 18, 2000 <br /> MEMO TO: The Honorable Mayor and City Council Members <br /> FROM: Steve Garman, City Manager �� <br /> Beth Couter, Director of Financial Management�j <br /> SUBJECT: Supplemental Appropriation for Fiscal Year 1999-2000 <br /> The City Council approved the transfer of the Planning and Inspection Services Division <br /> from the Community Development Department to the Economic and Urban Development <br /> Department, and the creation of the Intergovernmental Programs Department during fiscal year <br /> 1999-2000. The funding for this reorganization will be provided by the transfer of appropriation <br /> authority from the recently eliminated Community Development Department. <br /> The first ordinance transfers the money for the Planning and Inspection Services Division <br /> from the Community Development Department to the Economic and Urban Development <br /> Department totaling $145,700. <br /> The second ordinance transfers the money to the newly created Intergovernmental <br /> Programs Department from the Community Development Department in the amount of$26,000. <br />
