' � ti <br /> Page 2 - Petition For Rezoning <br /> The name and address of the property owner is: McDonald's Corporation <br /> 1835 East Eldorado <br /> Decatur, IL 62521 <br /> The petitioner owns the following described property adjacent to the property sought <br /> to be rezoned: <br /> Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 in Block 2 of E.G. and W.L. <br /> Allen's Addition to the City of Decatur, as per Plat <br /> recorded in Book 300 Page 15 of the Records in the <br /> Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois. <br /> The purpose of the proposed rezoning: <br /> Petitioner wishes to demolish the e�cisting McDonald's Restaurant located at 1835 <br /> East Eldorado, Decatur, Illinois and relocate a new restaurant on the property owned by <br /> Petitioner as shown on the attached Preliminary Plat. <br /> In support of this request, petitioner hereby submits to the City Plan Commission I, <br /> and City Council the following facts: <br /> Petitioner's new restaurant will be centered on Petirioner's property which will <br /> lengthen the drive thru lane. This will eliminate the current problem of cars in the drive <br /> thru line stopping on Eldorado Street. Petitioner's new restaurant will be more visually <br /> attractive and more efficient.
