L. Allen's Addition, as per Plat recorded <br /> in Book 300 Page 15 of the records in the Recorder's Office of <br /> Macon County, Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said portion of alley is no longer useful to the public or to the City or to the <br /> owners of the property abutting thereon as an alley; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the public interest will be subserved by vacating said portion of alley and the <br /> public will be relieved from the further burden and responsibility of maintaining the same. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the above described portion of alley be, and the same is hereby, vacated <br /> as a public a11ey inasmuch as the same is no longer required for public use and the public interest <br /> will be subserved by such vacation, said portion of alley being shown on the plat thereof hereto <br /> attached and hereby made a part hereof. <br />
