i 7 ORDINANCE NO. 2000-21 AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY - 1225 NORTH OAKLAND AND 1212 & 1220 NORTH HILL AVENUES - WHEREAS, on the 6th day of April, 2000, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of Family Video to rezone premises I described as: Lot Five (5) of County Clerk's Subdivision of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section Nine (9), Township Sixteen (16) North, Range Two (2) East of the 3rd P.M., as per plat recorded in Book 1575, Page l27 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois, formerly described as: Beginning 30 feet West and 250 feet South of the Northeast Corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section Nine (9), Township Sixteen (16) North, Range Two (2) East of the 3rd P.M., thence South 40 feet, thence West 145.2 feet, thence North 40 feet, thence East 145.2 feet to the place of beginning. Situated in Macon County, Illinois; AND, Lot One(1) in Block Thirteen(13) of Hill's 2nd Addition of Outlots to the City of Decatur, Illinois, as per Plat recorded in Book 536, Page 24 of the Records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; AND, Commencing 175.2 feet West and 285 feet South of the Northeast Corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section Nine (9), Township Sixteen (16) North, Range Two (2) East of the Third Principal Meridian; thence South 45 feet; thence West 145.2 feet; thence North 45 feet; thence East to the place of beginning; from R-3 Single Family Residence District to B-1 Neighborhood Shopping District ; and, WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said petition be granted.
