In 1999,together we have helped more than 125 families realize the dream of <br /> home ownership in Decatur financing almost$6 million in home purchases through the <br /> ASSIST Program. <br /> We would like to continue the program in 2000 and aze requesting that the City continue <br /> to participate with National City Bank and Gates Capital. We ask that the City again <br /> contribute their Year 2000 bonding authority for the next round of the ASSIST program <br /> in Decatur beginning this spring. We are optimistic that in 2000 we will be able to secure <br /> housing for more than 150 additional families in Decatur through their participation in the <br /> ASSIST program. <br /> � Again,thank you for this year's participation with National City Bank in this program. <br /> We look forward to continuing to provide affordable home ownership opportunities for . <br /> first time home buyers through the Assist program in Decatur.
