Cout r, Corporation Counsel <br /> RE: City Code d Subdivision Ordinance Amendments <br /> On Febr ry 21, the Council amended the City Code by eliminating the <br /> Department of Community Development and assigning its duties to other existing and <br /> newly-created departments. Both the City Code and the Subdivision Ordinance contain <br /> several references to either the Department or Director of Community Development, <br /> and it is necessary that these references be changed. Staff has prepared two <br /> ordinances which make these corrections, so that the City Code and the Subdivision <br /> Ordinance will accurately reflect where various responsibilities lie. <br /> Staff recommends that these ordinances be approved. <br /> JWC:ps <br /> cc: Wendy L.
