Collins, Director of Community Develop en <br /> William Turner, Building Inspection Superviso� <br /> SUBJECT: Ordinance Amending Enterprise Zone Boundary <br /> Enclosed for your consideration is an ordinance that amends the Enterprise Zone boundary. <br /> Approval of this boundary amendment will e�end the Enterprise Zone benefits to the following <br /> legal description: <br /> Lots One (1) , Two (2), Three (3), Four(4), Five (5), Six(6), Seven(7), Eight (8),Nine (9), Ten <br /> (10) and Twelve (12) in Block Two (2) of Whitchel's Addition of the City of Decatur, as per plat <br /> recorded in Book 149, Page 271 of the Records in the Recorders office of Macon County, except <br /> the West Six(6')feet of each of Lots 2, 3, 6, 7. (Except coal and other minerals lying under the <br /> surface of said land and all rights and easements in favor of the Estate of said coal and other <br /> minerals.) Situated in Macon County, Illinois. <br /> The annexation of this property will assist an existing business to expand and hire up to seven <br /> additional employees. The cost of the project is estimated to be $350,000 in building and site <br /> costs. At the present time, the land is vacant adjacent to the e�sting business. It has already been <br /> purchased by the developer. The use is consistent with the long range plans for this area. <br /> Passage of the ordinance will permit the applications to be submitted to the State of Illinois for � <br /> approval. Staff will be present to answer any questions. <br />
