Colh irector of Community Develop�tient <br /> William Turner, uilding Inspection Supervisor 1� <br /> SUBJECT: Ordinance Ame ing Enterprise Zone Boundary <br /> Enclosed for your consideration is an ordinance that amends the Enterprise Zone boundary. <br /> Approval of this boundary amendment will extend the Enterprise Zone benefits to the following <br /> legal description: <br /> The North Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section Thirty(30), in Township Seventeen(17) <br /> North, Range Three (3)East of the 3rd Meridian EXCEPT that part of said Half-quarter Section <br /> lying North and West of the Easterly Right-of-way line of S.B.I. Route 48, as per Plat recorded in <br /> Book 646, Page 586 of the Records in the Recorders Office of Macon County, Illinois, ALSO <br /> EXCEPT that part taken for highway purposes by Deed recorded in Book 1784, Page 140 of the <br /> records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; ALSO EXCEPT that part therefore <br /> that is contained in the DEDICATION OF RIGHT OF WAY FOR PUBLIC ROAD PURPOSES <br /> that is recorded as Document No. 1410869 in Book 2594 Page 135 of the records in the <br /> Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois. <br /> The project will be named Decatur Enterprise Park. It is intended to develop into a mix of office <br /> and light manufacturing facilities. When fully utilized, it is estimated that there will be 700,000 <br /> square feet of development, 1,000 employees and over $30 million of investment. <br /> Passage of the ordinance will permit the applications to be submitted to the State of Illinois for <br /> approval. Staffwill be present to answer any questions. <br />
