Colh irector of Community Develop�tient William Turner, uilding Inspection Supervisor 1� SUBJECT: Ordinance Ame ing Enterprise Zone Boundary Enclosed for your consideration is an ordinance that amends the Enterprise Zone boundary. Approval of this boundary amendment will extend the Enterprise Zone benefits to the following legal description: The North Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section Thirty(30), in Township Seventeen(17) North, Range Three (3)East of the 3rd Meridian EXCEPT that part of said Half-quarter Section lying North and West of the Easterly Right-of-way line of S.B.I. Route 48, as per Plat recorded in Book 646, Page 586 of the Records in the Recorders Office of Macon County, Illinois, ALSO EXCEPT that part taken for highway purposes by Deed recorded in Book 1784, Page 140 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; ALSO EXCEPT that part therefore that is contained in the DEDICATION OF RIGHT OF WAY FOR PUBLIC ROAD PURPOSES that is recorded as Document No. 1410869 in Book 2594 Page 135 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois. The project will be named Decatur Enterprise Park. It is intended to develop into a mix of office and light manufacturing facilities. When fully utilized, it is estimated that there will be 700,000 square feet of development, 1,000 employees and over $30 million of investment. Passage of the ordinance will permit the applications to be submitted to the State of Illinois for approval. Staffwill be present to answer any questions.
