., , � � ' BOOK � 94OPAGE �, O "� ��' � � 1�29"'136 �� �� �.00�c� � c.�n► TA�t ThMa bm?rn 1 U:1�� Rsoord At _..._.__._�� DEC 2 8 1�g9 I'I ORDINANCE NO. 99-82 Recorded in Book29,4,o Page 10� Q,�,� Fle.�:�o o��_s-=,.—,-�tecordet ' AN ORDINANCE VACAT�TG PORTION OF A STREET -EAST DNISION STREET BETWEEN CLINTON STREET AND RAILROAD AVENUE - WHEREAS, a request has been received from Archer Daniels Midland Company, the owner of the property abutting thereon requesting vacation of a portion of a street in the City of Decatur, Illinois, said portion of street being commonly known as East Division Street and said portion of said street being more particularly described as follows: A portion of East Division Street between Clinton Street and Railroad Avenue described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot Fifteen (15) of Enterprise Addition, as per Plat recorded in Book 149 Page 71 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; thence East 316 feet to the Southeast comer of Lot Fourteen (14) of said Enterprise Addition; thence 27 feet South; thence West 316 feet on the line parallel with and 27 feet South of the South line of Lots Fourteen (14) and Fifteen (15) of said Enterprise Addition to a point 27 feet South of the Southwest corner of Lot Fifteen (15) of said Enterprise Addition; thence North 27 feet to the point of beginning; and, WHEREAS, said portion of said street is no longer useful to the public or to the City and the public interest will be subserved by vacating said portion of said street and the public will be relieve� from any further burden or responsibility for opening, improving or maintaining said portion of said street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CTTY COUNCII, OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the above described portion of said street be, and the same is hereby, vacated as a public street upon the exceptions and condirions hereinafter provided inasmuch as the same is no longer required for public use and the public interest will be subserved by such vacation, said portion of said street being shown on the plat thereof hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof.
