. � <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 99-78 <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> - 1685 SOUTH BALTIMORE AVENUE - <br /> WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of June, 1999, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of Cecil Collins, Jr., Director of Community <br /> Development,to rezone premises described as: <br /> A part of the NW quarter of the SW quarter of Section 20, Township 16 North, <br /> Range 3 East more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point 30 feet <br /> North and 30 feet West of the Section of the NW quarter of the SW quarter of <br /> said Section 20, said point being the intersection of the North line of Fulton <br /> Avenue; with the West line of Baltimore Avenue, thence West 175 feet, thence <br /> North 248.12 feet along a line parallel to the East line of said NW quarter of the <br /> SW quarter of said Section 20, to the Southerly right-of-way line of U.S. Route <br /> 36, thence continuing Southeasterly along said right-of-way line 100 feet, thence <br /> continuing Southeasterly along said right-of-way line 108.8 feet to its intersection <br /> with the West line of Baltimore Avenue, thence South 145.3 feet to the place of <br /> beginning, <br /> from R-1 Single-Family Residence District to B-1 Neighborhood Shopping District; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said <br /> petition be granted. <br />
