r . <br /> Decatur City Plan Commission <br /> July 1, 1999 <br /> Page Eleven <br /> Mr. Schiller stated that parking at The Woods would be determined by density and paxking is <br /> underutilizied on Oakland for the Millikin Institute. <br /> Mr. Shampine stated that the advantages and costs to the neighborhood must be weighed. The <br /> emergency routes in place are Main and Wood Street. Mr. Shampine stated that Millikin <br /> University has been a good neighbor. <br /> It was moved and seconded (7acobs/Smallwood)to forward Cal. No. 99-51 to City Council with <br /> recommendation for approval. Motion carried at a vote of seven to one. Commissioners voting <br /> yea: Schiller, Anderson, Jacobs, Peck, Setina, Smallwood and Shampine. Commission John <br /> voted nay. Commissioners Gentry and Clevenger abstained from the vote. <br /> Mr. Shampine reported that he was serving on a committee to review the Requests for Proposals <br /> for the Decatur Comprehensive Plan. Others on the committee include Betsy Stockard, Patrick <br /> Laegeler, Lou Ann Jacobs and Jackie Goetter.
