Newell, P.E.,Traffic Engineeri�;� <br /> SUBJECT: Ordinance Adding Streets to the City's Municipal Street System <br /> An item on the agenda for the April 19, 1999, City Council meeting is an ordinance <br /> adding streets to the City's municipal street system. The streets in this ordinance were <br /> transferred from the State of Illinois to the City as part of the City/ State agreement entered into <br /> on December 1, 1997, for the improvement of U.S. Route 36 between Oakland Avenue and <br /> Moffet Lane. This ordinance officially adds these streets to the municipal street system and is <br /> required by the State to finalize the jurisdictional transfer. <br /> Staff will be present to answer any questions the Council may have. <br /> attach: 1 <br />
