FNGE � � � `�`� ��i . . �5116�1 ��, s� '�, ltNt Thk Ir�truim�nt Wa�9:ZO AM R�oord I►t aPR 2 s �sss 2881 229 Recorded in Book„�,,,_Page__ 16�h�� �ORDINANCE NO. 99-46 Fee Recorder AN ORDINANCE VACATING PORTION OF A STREET - 1100 BLOCK WEST LEAFLAND AVENUE - WHEREAS, a request has been received from Joe Bob Green, the owner of the property � abutting thereon requesting vacation of a portion of a street in the City of Decatur, Illinois, said ' portion of street being commonly known as West Leafland Avenue and said portion of said street being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the SW corner of Lot 13, Block 2 of Hills Second Addition of Outlots, thence East a distance of 185.0 feet to the SE corner of Lot 12,Block 2 of said Addition; thence a distance of 78.0 feet Southwesterly along the Westerly right-of-way of Illinois Route 48 to the NE corner of Lot 18, Block 5 of said Addition; thence 135.5 feet West to the NW corner of Lot 18, Block 5 of said Addition; thence North a distance of 60.0 feet to the point of beginning, and, WHEREAS, said portion of said street is no longer useful to the public or to the City and the public interest will be subserved by vacating said portion of said street and the public will be relieved from any further burden or responsibility for opening, improving or maintaining said portion of said street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CTTY OF DECATLJR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the above described portion of said street be, and the same is hereby, vacated as a public street upon the exceptions and conditions hereinafter provided inasmuch as the same is no longer required for public use and the publ�c interest will be subserved by such vacation, said portion of said street being shown on the plat thereof hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof.
