4 .� ORDINANCE NO. 99-41 SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION FOR FISCAL YEAR MAY 1, 1998 THROUGH APRIL 30, 1999 NITRATE STUDY GRANT - FUND 87 WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption by the Council of the annual Appropriation Ordinance for the fiscal year May 1998 through April 30, 1999, certain additional revenue not available and not then anticipated to be available when said annual Appropriation Ordinance was adopted has been made available or is anticipated to become available by a grant from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency. WHEREAS, the total amount hereinafter appropriated is not in excess of the aggregate of the additional revenue so made available or estimated to be received by the City subsequent to the adoption of said annual Appropriation Ordinance as aforesaid. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF , DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the following sums be, and they are hereby appropriated in the Nitrate Study Grant - Fund 87, for the corporate purposes, expenses, and lawful charges of the City for the fiscal ear Ma 1 1998 throu h A ri130 1999 said sums to be rovided for as aforesaid: , � Y Y , g P � , P Nitrate Study at the South Water Treatment Plant $500,000 Section 2. That any unexpended balance of any item or items of any appropriation herein may be expended to make up deficiencies in any sum or sums otherwise so appropriated herein.
