Fee v 1�•0° �h �l�order ORDINANCE NO. 99-24 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY - 2525 WEST CENTER STREET - WHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to the Council herewith, the petition under oath of John Schnake and Pam Schnake requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as: The northern most 300 feet of the following described tract: A part of the East 1/2 of Section 8, Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M., described as follows: Beginning at the center of said Section 8, thence North 1007.16 feet to the center of the Mount Pulaski Road, thence Southeasterly along the center of said road 213.10 feet to the point of beginning, thence Southeasterly along the center line of said road 384.66 feet, thence South 1201.86 feet, thence West 376.44 feet, thence North 1289.77 feet to the point of beginning, EXCEPT the East 180 feet thereof(a portion of 04-12-08-252-012); and, WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such territory and by at least 51% of the electors residing therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OR.DAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCII. OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved. �
