ADDITIONS and CHAPTER 70 - PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE - 8. PENALTY. � That no person, firm or corporation shall erect, construct, alter, extend, repair, remove, demolish, maintain, operate, use or occupy any structure or equipment regulated by the provisions of this Chapter or of the Code adopted hereby, or by the rules or directives promulgated or notices issued thereunder, or cause the same to be done, contrary to or in conflict with or in violation of any of said provisions, rules, directives or notices and except as provided in subsections (Bl and (C hereof, any person, firm or corporation violating or found to be in violation thereof shall upon conviction be fined not more than ' . Two Thousand Dollars ($2.000.00� for each offense, and each day on which a violation occurs or continues sha11 be considered a separate offense. jB) When a defendant is convicted of a violation of anv of the provisions of this chapter or of the Code ado�ted here� or the rules or directives promul ate�d or notices issued hereunder as provided in subsection (Al hereof, which violation occurred within 12 months of aprior conviction for a violation of anv of the provisions of this chapter or of the Code adopted herebv or the rules or directives promul ag ted or notices issued hereunder and such char�es are separately brou�,ht and tried and arise out of a different series of acts or omissions, such defendant shall unon conviction be fined not less than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.001 nor more than Two Thousand Dollars�$2 000 OO�for each offense and each dav a violation occurs or continues shall be considered a separate offense. (Cl When a defendant is convicted of a violation of anv of the provisions of this chapter or of the Code adopted herebv or the rules or directives promul atg ed or notices issued hereunder as provided in subsection (Al hereof, which violation occurred within 12 months of anv two 2�nrior convictions for a violation of anv of the provisions of this chapter or of the Code adopted herebv or the rules or directives promul�ated or notices issued hereunder, which prior convictions each arose out of a different series of acts or omissions, and such �resent charees are separately brou�ht and tried and arise out of a different series of acts or omissions from either of the prior convictions such defendant shall upon conviction be fined not less than One Thousand Dollars (�1 000.00) nor more than Two Thousand Dollars ($2.000.001 for each offense and each day a violation occurs or continues shall be considered a senarate offense.
