ORDINANCE NO. 98-74 <br /> ORDINANCE ABATING LEVY <br /> GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS <br /> SERIES OF NNE 1998 <br /> WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 98-34 passed and approved June 29, 1998, the Council <br /> caused general obligation bonds of the City to be issued and did levy therein certain sums to pay <br /> the principal and interest on said bonds; and, <br /> WHEREAS, funds other than those raised by general taxation have or will become <br /> available to timely pay such principal and interest as the same become due in fiscal year <br /> 1999-2000. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the following tax levies for interest on and principal of the indicated <br /> bonds for the year 1998,payable in the fiscal year 1999-2000, be, and the same are hereby abated <br /> as follows: <br /> Ordinance Number Ordinance Full <br /> and Bond Issue L� Abatement Lev <br /> 98-.34 - General Purpose <br /> Bonds, Series 1998 $498,290 $498,290 $ 0 <br /> Section 2. That the County Clerk of the County of Macon, Illinois, be, and he is hereby <br /> authorized and directed to fully abate said levy and to not extend the same for the year 1998. <br />
