ORDINANCE NO. 98-65 <br /> . AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> -4184 NORTH WATER STREET- <br /> WHEREAS, on the 1 st day of October, 1998,upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of Hurwitz Enterprises to rezone premises <br /> described as: <br /> SEE EXHIBIT A ATTACHED HERETO <br /> AND HEREBY MADE A PART HEREOF <br /> from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to B-2 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission failed to make a recommendation on said <br /> petition and forwards said Petition to Council without recommendation. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COLTNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the Petition For Rezoning be, and the same is hereby,received. <br /> Section 2. T'hat said described premises be, and they are hereby,rezoned from R-1 <br /> SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to B-2 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT. <br /> Section 3. That the Districts hereinabove mentioned are those districts set forth and <br /> defined in Ordinance No. 3512 of the City of Decatur, Illinois, commonly known as the Zoning <br /> Ordinance, and all the provisions,regulations,restrictions and requirements therein set forth shall <br /> apply to the premises above described herein. <br />
