. � , <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 98-62 <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> - 1170 EAST ORCHARD STREET - <br /> WHEREAS, on the 1 st day of October, 1998, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church to <br /> rezone premises described as: <br /> Lots 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 in Block 18 and Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, <br /> 7, 8, 9 and 10 in Block 19 of Carver's Adddition to the City of Decatur as per Plat <br /> recorded in Book T Page 238 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon <br /> County, Illinois, <br /> from R-3 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to B-1 NEIGHBORHOOD SHOPPING <br /> DISTRICT; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that said Petition be <br /> approved for rezoning to R-6 MULTIPLE DWELLING DISTRICT. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the <br /> same is hereby, received,placed on file and approved. <br /> Section 2. That said described premises be, and they are hereby, rezoned from R-1 <br /> SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to R-6 MLTLTIPLE DWELLING DISTRICT. <br />
