e <br /> ,�J , <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 98-51 <br /> ORDINANCE DESIGNATING ALL-WAY STOP INTERSECTION <br /> -OAKLAND AVENUE AND ARBOR DRIVE - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the intersection of Oakland Avenue and Arbor L�rive in the City of <br /> Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, designated and established as an all-way stop <br /> intersection. <br /> Section 2. That when appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof, vehicular traffic <br /> approaching said intersection from any direction, shall stop and after having stopped, shall yield <br /> the right-of-way to any vehicle which has entered the intersection from another direction or <br /> which is approaching so closely on the roadway as to constitute an immediate hazard during the <br /> time when said vehicle is moving across or within the intersection, and thereafter having so <br /> stopped and so yielded,may proceed at such time as a safe interval occurs. <br /> Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of <br /> this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than <br /> Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for each offense. <br /> Section 4. That the provisions of all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the <br /> provisions of this ordinance insofar as the same are in conflict with said provisions be, and the <br /> � same are hereby, repealed. <br />
