Bauer, Human Resources Manage <br /> SUBJECT: Revisions to Citv Code Chapter 7 <br /> Attached please find an ordinance revising Chapter 7, Section 2, of the City Code of the <br /> City of Decatur. The revisions are as follows: <br /> Deletion of the job titles administrative assistant and executive secretary - these <br /> positions no longer exist within the City's management classification system; <br /> Deletion of the job title Budget and Technolog,y Analyst - this position was eliminated <br /> with the termination of the Budget and Technology Division in fiscal year 1997- 1998; <br /> Deletion of the job title Mainframe Systems Analyst - this is an obsolete job title; the <br /> position no longer exists in the Management Information Services (MIS) Division; <br /> Addition of the job title Civil Engineer II - this position was approved for this year's <br /> budget by City Council in conjunction with implementation of the sewer users' fee; <br /> Revision of the Plant Maintenance Supervisor job title to that of Water Production <br /> Maintenance Supervisor- it is felt the new job title is more descriptive of the placement <br /> of the position within the table of organization; , <br /> Revision of the Chief Drafter job title to that of Engineering Technician Supervisor - <br /> this job description was rewritten this Spring, and the Engineering Division feels this title <br /> more accurately reflects the current responsibilities of the position; <br />' Revision of the Lake Maintenance Supervisor job title to that of Lake Manager - this <br /> change was made about three years ago because the new title more accurately reflects the <br /> responsibilities of that position; <br />�_ <br />
