Collins, J . ommunity Development Director 4G��� <br /> Teresa Townsend, cting Senior Planner '� <br /> SUBJECT: Annexation of premises commonly known as 4625 E. Maryland Street <br /> A valid petition requesting annexation of the subject premises has been filed with the City Clerk's <br /> Office. Containing 39 acres, the area in question is presently undeveloped. The reason for <br /> annexation is to enable the tract to be eligible for basic municipal services upon future <br /> development. <br /> The following data has been compiled relative to the proposed annexation: <br /> l. A 12 inch watermain is located in E. Maryland Street adjacent to the site. <br /> Sanitary sewer is located at the northeast corner of the site. <br /> 2. Additional annual revenue of appro�mately $922.69 would become <br /> available from the combined total of real estate, motor fuel, and state <br /> income t�es. This amount would increase substantially upon future development <br /> of this tract. <br /> 3. Any future development will be in compliance with Annexation Agreement <br /> Resolution No. R98-60. I <br /> Staff reco nizes the sub'ect annexation as roducin a lo ical e�ension of h II <br /> g J P g g te <br /> corporate limits. Staff recommends approval of the petition as presented. �' <br />
