The property at 903 W. Decatur is owned by Decatur Community Church. The <br /> property has been used as a church since 1972. Decatur Community Church has <br /> agreed to donate the property to Dove Inc. if a special use permit can be <br /> obtained. The property has one improvement, a two-story house containing 2,000 <br /> square feet and a full basement. There are no other buildings on the property. �' <br /> There is an area in the back of the house blacktopped for parking. We plan to <br /> paint the exterior trim and clean and paint the interior as needed. There are no '� <br /> structural changes or additions to the building. � <br /> Dove, Inc. is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation with headquarters at 788 East <br /> Clay Street, Decatur, Illinois 62521: Dove is a social services agency committed <br /> to helping people meet their social and personal needs. 58 churches in Decatur <br /> and Central Illinois jointly sponsor pove. <br /> This property will be occupied by Homeward Bound, an interagency program <br /> providing a variety of services to persons who are homeless. Dove, Inc. is the <br /> administrative and fiduciary agent for Homeward Bound in partnership with the <br /> City of Decatur, Decatur Housing Authority, Heritage Behavioral Center, Decatur <br /> Macon County Opportunities Corporation, and Community Investment <br /> Corporation. <br /> The building will be open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and <br /> other times by appointment. There will be six staff persons housed at the building <br /> The activities occurring at the property will incfude counseling, client intake and <br /> assessment, case management, client referrals, management activities related to <br /> apartments located elsewhere in the city, and meetings. <br /> Dove, Inc. owns and occupies properties at 788 East Clay purchased in 1987, the <br /> property at 800 East C1ay purchased in 1991 , and the properties at 810, 824, and <br /> 836 East Clay purchased in 1996. <br /> Tne buiiding at 788 East Clay is used as a shelter for victims of domestic violence <br /> and for other pove programs, and the building at 800 East Clay is also used to <br /> house other pove programs. The building will be open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. <br /> Monday through Friday and other times by appointment. There will be six staff <br /> persons housed at the building. The property at 824 E.
