Couter, D rector of Financial Management �� I, <br /> SUBJECT: Appropriation Ordinance far Fiscal Year 1998 - 1999 <br /> The schedule for the Appropriation Ordinance is: ', <br /> Public Heaxing June 15, 1998 <br /> Adoption of the Ordinance June 22, 1998 � <br /> Attached is the 1998-1999 Appropriation Ordinance. There are four changes from the budget: <br /> 1. Add the new sewer fund and associated costs of the new position of Civil Engineer II <br /> 2. Carryover the Section 108 pass through grant not used in fiscal year 1.997-1998 <br /> 3. Southeast Plaza TIF is established with opening of the theater and restaurant during 1998 <br /> 4. Second year of union contracts which were signed in the spring of 1998 and were not <br /> reflected in the 1998-1999 budget. Includes wage, pension and longevity increases, and <br /> health insurance premiums costs transferred from the employees to the City. <br /> SUMMARY SCHEDULE: <br /> Budget approved in April 1998 $ 93,400,016 <br /> Add: New Sewer fund costs 2,170,563 <br /> Add: Section 108 carryover 1,500,000 <br /> Add: Southeast Plaza TIF 100,000 <br /> Add: Union Contracts terms 911,068 <br /> Appropriation Ordinance $ 98.081.647 <br />
