. � � <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 98-17 <br /> ORDINANCE APPROVING LAND USE <br /> COMMUNICATION TOWER <br /> - 2701 PARKWAY DRIVE - <br /> WHEREAS, the following described premises are currently zoned M-1 Light Industrial <br /> District: <br /> Lot Eighteen (18) in Northeast Business and Industrial Complex <br /> First Addition as per Plat recorded in Book 1575 Page 228 of the <br /> records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Koll Telecommunications Services has petitioned this Council pursuant to <br /> Section XVI (B) of the Zoning Ordinance for approval to construct and operate on said premises <br /> a freestanding communication tower and equipment building; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the use of said premises for said purpose has been approved by the Building <br /> Inspector and the Fire Chief. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the petition described above, and the reports of the Building Inspector <br /> and the Fire Chief concerning said petition,be received, placed on file and approved. <br />
