. 1 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 98-10 '! <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> -NORTH OF L & A INDUSTRIAL PARK- <br /> WHEREAS, on the Sth day of February, 1998, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of Riverbend Development, Inc. to rezone <br /> premises described as: <br /> A part of the Northwest '/a (NW '/a) of the Northeast Quarter (NE <br /> 1/4) of Section 31, Township 17 North Range 3 East of the Third <br /> Principal Meridian, said part described as follows: Beginning at a <br /> point, said point being the Southwest corner of the said NW '/4 of <br /> the NE '/4 of Section 31; thence N00°-47'-57"W (Assumed <br /> Bearing) along the West line of the said NW '/4 of the NE '/4 of Sec. <br /> 31, 800.19 feet; thence N 89°-16'18"E, 1314.86 feet on a line <br /> parallel to the North line of the said NW '/4 of the NE '/4 of Sec. 31, <br /> to a point which is 20 feet West of the East line of the said NW '/4 <br /> of the NE '/a of Sec. 31; thence S00°-38'-56"E on a line which is <br /> 20 feet West of and parallel to the said East line of the NW '/a of <br /> the NE '/4 of Sec. 31, 791.25 feet to a point on the South line of the <br /> said NW '/4 of the NE '/4 of Sec. 31; thence S88°-52'-54"W along <br /> the said South line of the NW '/4 of the NE '/4 of Sec. 31, 1312.80 <br /> feet to the point of beginning containing 24.00 acres, more or less; <br /> from R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to M-1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL <br /> DISTRICT; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said <br /> petition be granted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the <br /> same is hereby, received,placed on file and approved. <br />
