,.� �_ <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 97-101 <br /> ORDINANCE DESIGNATING FOUR-WAY STOP INTERSECTION <br /> -ALBANY STREET/36TH STREET AND FULTON AVENUE - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the intersection of Albany Street/36th Street and Fulton Avenue in the <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, designated and established as a four-way <br /> stop intersection. <br /> Section 2. That when appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof, vehicular traffic <br /> approaching said intersection from any direction, shall stop and after having stopped, shall yield <br /> the right-of-way to any vehicle which has entered the intersection from another direction or <br /> which is approaching so closely on the roadway as to constitute an immediate hazard during the <br /> time when said vehicle is moving across or within the intersection, and thereafter having so <br /> stopped and so yielded, may proceed at such time as a safe interval occurs. <br /> Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of <br /> this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than <br /> Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for each offense. <br />
