Williams, Jr., City Manager <br /> Debora L. Bean, Acting Community Development Director��� <br /> Robert A. McQueen, Senior Planner �� <br /> SUBJECT: Annexation of premises commonly known as 4106 Doneta Ave. <br /> A valid petition requesting annexation of the subject premises has been filed with the City <br /> Clerk's Office. Containing .5 acres, the area in question is presently developed with a <br /> single family dwelling The main reason for requesting annexation is to obtain City water <br /> to serve the existing dwelling. <br /> The following data has been compiled relative to the proposed annexation: <br /> 1. An e�sting watermain is located along Cooper Drive adjacent to the I� <br /> subject tract; service is readily available. <br /> 2. The e�sting residence is served by an individual septic tank system; the <br /> nearest sanitary sewer is located approximately one quarter mile to the east <br /> at Cooper Drive and Taylor Road. <br /> 3. Additional annual revenue of approximately $440.00 would become <br /> available from the combined total of real estate, motor fuel, and state <br /> income taxes. <br /> Staff is of the opinion that the proposed annexation would produce a logical extension of <br /> the corporate limits; several properties within this single family area generally located <br /> south of Ash Avenue and west of Taylor Road have requested annexation over the past <br /> two years. <br /> Staff recommends approval of the petition as presented. <br />
