• ORDINANCE NO. 97-89 ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING PARKING ZONES AND RATES -DOWNTOWN AREA- BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That in accordance with and subject to the applicable provisions of Chapter 34 of the City Code, when appropriate meters are installed, the parking of vehicles shall be, and the same is hereby, limited to those time restrictions shown on E�ibit A attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof. Section 2. That the cost for parking in a space at which a parking meter is installed shall be at the rate as stated on the meter which shall be either Ten Cents ($.10) per hour, up to the maximum time allotted on the meter, or Five Cents ($.OS) for a single twenty (20)minute time period. Section 3. That in accordance with and subject to the applicable provisions of Chapter 34 of the City Code, when appropriate signs are installed thereat, the parking of vehicles in the "Downtown Area" as defined in Section 1 of said Chapter 34 be, and the same is hereby, limited to those time restrictions shown on E�iibit A attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof. Section 4. That any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than Two Dollars ($2.00) nor more than Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) for each offense. Section 5. That the provisions of all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance insofar as the same are in conflict with said provisions be, and the same are hereby, repealed.
