, � . <br /> . � <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 97-80 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTER 11 --ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT - <br /> - CHAPTER 7-- OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES GENERALLY- <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby <br /> modified and amended by adding thereto Chapter 11, said Chapter 11 to be entitled "Economic <br /> Development Department" and to provide as shown on Exhibit A attached hereto and hereby <br /> made a part hereof. <br /> Section 2. That Section 2 of Chapter 7 of the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois, <br /> be, and the same is hereby, modified and amended, so that said Section 2, as so modified and <br /> amended, shall provide as follows: <br /> 2. APPOINTMENT AND REMOVAL. The City Manager shall <br /> have the power and authority to appoint and remove at will the Assistant <br /> City Manager, all directors of departments, fire marshals, battalion chiefs, <br /> police personnel above the rank of sergeant, administrative assistants, <br /> chiefs and heads of divisions, executive and administrative secretaries, <br /> members of the Legal Department, Personnel Specialists, Training Officer, <br /> Budget and Technology Analysts, Human Relations Specialists, Senior <br /> Systems Analyst, Mainframe Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, Risk <br /> Management Assistant, Street and Sewer Maintenance Supervisor, <br /> Assistant City Engineer, Civil Engineer I, Fleet Supervisor, Plant <br /> Maintenance Supervisor, Chief Drafter, CAD System Coordinator, Lake <br /> Maintenance Supervisor, Distribution Maintenance Supervisor, Water <br />
