ORDINANCE NO. 97-75 <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> - 1267-1287 WEST KING STREET AND 1268-1278 WEST GREEN STREET - <br /> WHEREAS, on the 7th day of August, 1997, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of Metropolitan Real Estate to rezone <br /> premises described as: <br /> Lots Ten (10) through Fifteen (15) and Eighteen (18) through <br /> Twenty-Three (23) and that portion of Lots Sixteen (16) and <br /> Seventeen (17) not previously dedicated to the State of Illinois for <br /> right-of-way purposes, all in Block Two (2) of Solana Place as per <br /> Plat recorded in Book 149 Page 81 of the records in the Recorder's <br /> Office of Macon County, Illinois, <br /> from R-3 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to B-1 NEIGHBORHOOD SHOPPING <br /> DISTRICT; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said <br /> petition be granted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the <br /> same is hereby, received, placed on file and approved. <br />
