It was brought to his attention that there have <br /> been an inordinate number of accidents at this intersection. This is somewhat the same problem , <br /> as the intersection of 19th and Decatur Streets in that yield signs are not proving to provide <br /> ff iv n r 1 Th r h n r in <br /> e ect e co t o . e e ave bee three accidents he e the ast three ears. Staff re uests that <br /> P Y q <br /> the existing yield signs be replaced with stop signs. ' <br /> Bat. Chief Mark Hansen noted the speeds are much higher on Buckingham than on Newcastle. ', <br /> Bruce Moore would support this recommendation because of the children in the neighborhood I <br /> and the proximity to neighborhood schools. <br /> It was moved and seconded(Moore/ Spangler)to accept staff recommendation that stop signs be <br /> installed to replace the existing yield signs currently facing Buckingham Avenue. There being no <br /> one opposed, the motion camed. <br />
