s . � ORDINANCE NO. 97-15 ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING SALE OF LAND - 2100 BLOCK OF NORTH 22ND STREET- BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATiJR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the offer of Three Thousand Fifty Dollars ($3,050) by Richard Heinkel, for the purchase of property located in the 2100 Block of North 22nd Street, Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file and accepted. Said property is legally described as follows: The East 30 feet of the North 455.1 feet of the following described property: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4, Section 1, Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M.; thence South on the West line of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 a distance of 292.3 feet; thence East on a line parallel to the North line of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 a distance of 116.0 feet to the point of beginning; thence East on the same line 390.0 feet to a point; thence South on a line parallel to the West line of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 1-16-2 to a point on the North right-of-way line of the Illinois Terminal Railroad; thence Northwesterly on the East right-of-way line of the Illinois Terminal Railroad to the point of beginning. Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to sign, seal and attest a deed conveying said premises to Richard Heinkel, and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed, upon payment by said purchaser of the above-mentioned consideration, to cause said deed to be delivered to said purchaser.
